Sandvik Coromant signs partnership with Hanna Tools
Sandvik Coromant and Hanna Tools have signed a cooperation agreement to establish a partnership to strengthen the offer to the global automotive industry.

This partnership with Hanna Tools will allow Sandvik Coromant to further develop and strengthen its global position within the automotive segment. In addition, Hanna Tools will introduce its tool portfolio to a wider customer base.The aim of this partnership is to continue to develop and offer world-leading engineered solutions to the global automotive industry - mainly for machining aluminum and cast iron. Today, both companies are active in offering specific solutions for machining key component features. These solutions involve advanced engineered precision tools and require specific engineering competence. “The existing cooperation between Sandvik Coromant and Hanna Tools has led to new business opportunities, and with this partnership, we intend to further develop and strengthen the global business within the automotive segment,” says Klas Forsström, President of Sandvik Coromant. “The consolidation and expansion of this partnership with Sandvik Coromant, enables Hanna Tools to promote its brand and expertise at global levels,” stated Eduardo Hanna, CEO of Hanna Tools. He continues, “In addition, it allows us to access the newest technologies of research and development of new products.” The combination of Sandvik Coromant’s global presence matched with Hanna Tools’ unique technologies offer a competitive assortment dedicated to targeted customers and machine tool makers. The joint engineering competence, innovative solutions and new technologies allows both companies to leverage and improve their global automotive offer.Hanna Tools was founded in 1942 by Salim Hanna and is dedicated to the manufacturing of engineering solutions for automotive components. Today, Hanna Tools has 130 collaborators and is present in Argentina, Brazil Canada, Chile, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Sweden and USA.
