Customers, distributors, business partners, corporate executives, and family members gathered May 18-20 to celebrate the expanded Haimer North American headquarters in Villa Park, Ill., one of 14 facilities worldwide. The Igenhausen, Bavaria-based company designs and produces high-precision metal-cutting products including toolholders, solid-carbide tooling, and grinding wheel adapters.

More than 10,000 sq.ft. of the 25,000-sq.-ft. building is dedicated to product displays and demonstrations and areas for customer and distributor education. A reception area with a refreshment bar and a training room that opens into the showroom are features of the $1 million facility expansion.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on Thursday, May 19.
