Doosan celebrates open house at North American Technical Center

The sales, engineering, and executive staff at Doosan Machine Tools America hosted an open house recently to celebrate their expanded Technical Center in Pine Brook, N.J. The company welcomed customers and its North American distributor network. The three-day event served to introduce the support that the company offers from its Technical Center and new machine tool technologies.

Visitors took part in tours of the Technical Center and learned about various machines in the redesigned demonstration area.

The company’s compact linear pallet system (LPS) was integrated with an HP5100II HMC to show how aerospace components can be produced. A Puma MX 1600ST mill/turn center was also shown.

The 35,000-sq.-ft. Technical Center houses the applications engineering, training, spindle lab, parts warehouse, and service departments.
