Canadian Welding Bureau gets new home

CWB Group has moved to a new and bigger facility in Milton, ON. The new 28,650 sq ft building is also home to the Advanced Welding Technology Centre (AWTC), the first of its kind in North America, according to CWB.

CWB Group has moved to a new and bigger facility in Milton, ON. The new 28,650 sq ft building is also home to the Advanced Welding Technology Centre (AWTC), the first of its kind in North America, according to CWB.

The AWTC will offer training to industrial and educational institutions across Canada. The centre is equipped with the latest welding equipment, including fixed automation, plasma, robotics, sub arc, pulsed MIG and TIG, and a high precision cutting table provided by the welding industry. Suppliers include ABB, ESAB, Fronius, Gullco, Thermadyne, Liburdi, Lincoln, Miller, and Nederman.

According to the CWB, the custom designed building showcases the flexibility and creative design of welded steel structures, featuring high exposed ceiling beams and aluminum panels.

The new address is 8260 Parkhill Drive, Milton, ON, L9T 5V7.
