DESTACO appoints new president

DESTACO, an Auburn Hills, Mich.-based provider of automation, workholding, and containment systems, has appointed Byron J. Paul as president. Paul previously worked at John Crane, first as vice president of global strategy and later as managing director, Asia Pacific. He also worked at Boston Consulting Group for 10 years.

Paul has a master’s degree in public administration from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government, an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, and a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) degree in accounting and finance from The University of Western Australia.
