FABTECH 2015 Preview: ARKU Coil Systems

ARKU Coil Systems Inc will be exhibiting at FABTECH 2015 in booth S508.

The EdgeBreaker is ARKU’s new, powerful and reliable deburring machine.

Whether aluminum, steel or titanium, the oscillating roller on the EdgeBreaker removes undesired burrs and creates a clean, even surface. Furthermore, the oscillation reliably removes any residue from the grinding belt.

The rounding units running in the transverse direction are equipped with sanding blocks which round the edges on both sides. In addition, the sanding blocks‘ vibration-free movement guarantees precision results. This also has a positive effect on the service life of the sanding blocks which can be rapidly replaced using a click system which has been registered for patenting.

The calibration of the sanding tools measures and automatically compensates for the wear on the units. In addition, the machine also can call up the saved data of parts whose parameters were previously entered into the control system at any time. The EdgeBreaker is a powerful yet economical machine with a total drive performance of 25 kW.
