CIMTECH 310®, a low-pH synthetic fluid from manufacturer Cimcool Fluid Technology, is designed for use in the automotive and aerospace industries. The product has passed all bimetallic and aluminum (7075) “sandwich” corrosion tests.
It is suitable for machining and grinding operations, including creep-feed grinding on nonferrous or ferrous metals. It is low-foaming and provides excellent rancidity control, extending the life of the fluid and minimizing the need for additives, the company states.
In addition, the fluid is transparent, offering the machine operator uninhibited part visibility. It will not irritate to the skin.
