The new model features a lighter ADF by using a new liquid crystal cell
design and light-weight material. The ADF can be used will all
arc-welding processes including MMAW, MIG/MAG, TIG, and microplasma.
The Speedglas SL ADF is particularly appropriate for low-to-moderate
amperage welding (0.1 to 250 amps). It has four user-selectable
sensitivity settings and five dark shades-8, 9, 10, 11, and 12. A new
motion-detector automatically turns the filter ON as the welder picks
up the shield and will also automatically turn it OFF within 15 minutes
of last arc sensed or last movement.
