Veteran industry supplier Bill Brennan passes away

William "Bill" Brennan, former owner of Brennan Machinery, Woodstock, Ont., has passed away at age 70. Bill was a loving husband and father and a dynamic businessman that touched the lives of many with his warm personality, sense of humour, and wisdom.

Brennan Machinery, which was founded in 1935, specializes in providing expert advice, technical information, and machinery to end users through a network of dealers in Canada from coast to coast.

He took over Brennan Machinery in 1978 as a third-generation owner after graduating from Western University with an MBA. Bill and his brother Steve co-owned the company for more than 30 years before selling it to current owner Gary Masters in 2012.

“Bill loved working with customers, dealers, and suppliers,” said Masters. “He had a genuine interest in them all both professionally and personally. He travelled across Canada for many years making dealer and customer visits and was highly respected in the industry. His opinion was sought after and respected by many customers and dealers.”
