FANUC America Corp. will demonstrate its new CR-35iB collaborative robot at IMTS 2022. It is the strongest model variation in the company’s lineup of 11 CR and CRX cobots that can handle payloads from 4 to 35 kg.
The CR-35iB collaborative robot has a 35-kg payload and an 1,831-mm reach and includes the company’s latest safety sensor technology. The cobot works alongside operators, which helps minimize the risk of repetitive strain and other work-related injuries and reduces costs typically associated with lift assist devices or other custom equipment, the company reports.
Operators can use the FANUC hand-guidance option, leading the cobot through paths to teach a new task, or its tablet TP. It also is compatible with the standard FANUC teach pendant.
