FastBend robot from Acieta handles repetitive, dangerous work on press brakes

Acieta has introduced the FastBend robotic cell for tending press brakes. It can be integrated with new or existing machines and outfitted for bin, pallet, and conveyor outputs to process a variety of formed parts.
The standard cell can run for hours in lights-out, continuous operation. The addition of a second drawer cabinet doubles the number of parts and material that can be queued.
When paired with some press brakes, the robotic cell can perform autonomous brake tooling (optional) and programming changeovers, allowing longer periods of unattended operation. With offline programming capabilities, the brake keeps forming while new jobs are programmed. A variety of standard and custom end-of-arm tooling options are available.
