N-220-2.7 robot from Comau offers 220-kg payload, wide working area

Comau has introduced the new N-220-2.7, a 220-kg-payload robot featuring a modular setup, direct kinematics, absolute calibration, and enhanced algorithms. These characteristics contribute to ease of use, straightforward integration, and fast post-installation maintenance.
The 6-axis articulated robot offers an architectural approach based on progressive modularity, component reduction, advanced motors, and APC drivers. With its wide working area and Performance Level D cartesian safety features, the robot is suitable for such industries as automotive, food and beverage, fulfillment, and logistics. It has a hollow forearm and an integrated application dressing.
