Schuler offers the Energy Monitor, which links information on the power consumption of a system, including peripherals such as the coil line or transfer, with the production data. This allows the user to see at a glance which die and which product, for example, has the highest energy requirement at which number of strokes.
According to the company, users can save at least 10% once they see how many hours some presses are ready for operation but not producing.
The monitor automatically calculates energy consumption per component produced. The prerequisite for its use is the company’s Production Monitor already installed on a Schuler line. Both applications are part of the manufacturer’s Digital Suite.
