Striker Systems has released Striker CAD/CAM 2023, which provides automated programming of CNC punching and cutting equipment, nesting, and business system integration. The new release offers enhancements to existing features, as well as new technology. Additional features also will be released incrementally throughout the software’s 2023 life cycle.
One new feature is the ability for the user to override the assigned nesting rules for a part. For example, a part may be too large to fit on the sheet with the assigned sheet margins. In previous releases, this part would have to be handled separately. In the 2023 release, it can be assigned its own nest-spacing rules to override those assigned to the nest job.
Support for CNC routers also has been expanded to include a broader array of equipment.
