Yaskawa Motoman’s new ArcWorld® 2000 modular welding workcell is designed for robotic welding of large workpieces. It is suitable for low- to medium-volume manufacturers with a medium to high mix of parts.
Able to accommodate parts up to 16.4 ft. wide and payloads up to nearly 7 tons, the workcell handles labor-intensive jobs involving large parts or heavy-deposition welding. It is configured with one or two 6-axis welding robots directed by the DX200 controller with menu-driven arc welding application software, an integrated welding package (power source, wire feeder, and welding torch), positioners, operator interface, and safety barriers.
It can scale from a single-station layout with a reduced floor space footprint to a two-robot, dual-station configuration to adapt to changing production demands.
