Spark & Co. Adds Abrasive Waterjet Line

Waterjet and EDM distributor Spark & Co. has announced that it will be supporting the MAXIEM™ brand of abrasive waterjets, a new brand of machines manufactured by OMAX®.
The first waterjet in this new line to be released is the MAXIEM 1530. According to the manufacturer, this machine was designed for the production of large parts or multiple parts from large stock. The machine can cut a variety of materials, including metal, plastic, glass,ceramics, stone, and composites. These waterjets will feature Intelli-MAX® Basic, a control containing the core functionality of OMAX’s waterjet software, as well as the patent-pending Xand Y-axis traction drive system designed to handle an abrasive environment.
