All-in-One Wilson VH3100 hardness tester from Buehler comes with software

Buehler, ITW Test & Measurement GmbH offers the fully automatic, All-in-One Wilson VH3100 hardness tester. This Vickers/Knoop system can meet almost any requirement in automated micro to macro hardness testing, according to the manufacturer.

The unit includes DiaMet Enterprise hardness testing software, which offers mapping, edge detection, scanning, stitching of overview image, CHD calculations, statistics, weld testing, geometric measurement functions, exporting of all common file types, and bar code scanner interface. It also includes a PC with a 24-in. HD touch monitor.

The hardness test system features a three-position virtual turret with one Vickers indenter and two measurement objectives, an automated X/Y sample stage (110- by 140-mm travel range), a bright field overview camera for sample navigation and scanning, and image analysis. A collision protection system helps prevent accidental damage to the indenters and objectives from operator error.
