Huntingdon’s PurgeNet dew point sensor helps eliminate porosity during welding

- Measurement
Huntingdon Fusion Techniques HFT has developed the PurgeNet Dew Point Purging Gas Moisture Sensor for measuring the dew point for critical welds. It predicts when water will form on metal surfaces, which can cause porosity and create cracking in the weld joint.
The sensor is designed to fit any of the Argweld Weld Purge Monitors that read down to 1 PPM. Data is displayed on the monitor’s screen in split format, so that both oxygen and moisture content are shown as PPM value.
