- Metal Finishing
Cortec offers VpCI®-386, a water-based coating for outdoor corrosion protection. The fast-drying, acrylic one-coat system offers a VOC of 0.6 lbs./gal., and it can be applied directly to metal.
The coating’s Nano VpCI inhibitors fight microcorrosion by forming a molecular protective layer that follows the intricacies of the substrate’s microcavities. The coating is adaptable to a variety of applications, and it can be applied as a clear coat on top of another coating, creating minimal change to surface appearance.
