- Welding
Cortec offers two rust preventives approved for weldable applications. These products help users ensure their components are protected, without the need to clean parts before welding.
BioCorr imparts a nearly undetectable dry-film rust preventive that does not have to be removed before further component assembly and processing. It contains 64% USDA-certified biobased content. VpCI-325 leaves behind an oily film that displaces water and inhibits corrosion. It has a partial vegetable oil base.
