Fronius has launched the Exento extraction welding torch and two compact, mobile Exento extraction systems (HighVac and LowVac) that work together to eliminate welding fumes.
The torch captures fume with pinpoint accuracy before it can spread, says the company. The desired extraction level can be controlled directly on the handle with a bypass valve. Rubber inserts ensure a non-slip grip, and the included LED lighting proves useful when welding in dark areas and for quality control.
The HighVac system is particularly effective for MIG welding, removing welding fume as soon as it is created. The system eliminates more than 99.9% of the captured welding fume particles. The LowVac is a low-vacuum extraction system suitable for all welding processes, such as MIG, TIG, and MMA, with a flow-optimized extraction hood design.
