FumeVac has introduced the FV-500-20 weld fume source-capture system. Equipped with the ErgoMax™ MIG fume gun, the system can meet ACGIH guidelines, as well as OSHA standards, for mitigating harmful welding fumes, including manganese and hexavalent chromium.
The lightweight MIG gun moves more air than competing styles to keep the gun cool, according to the company. Its 360-degree ball-joint flexible design and ergonomic handle help reduce operator fatigue and enhance maneuverability and adaptability to a variety of work positions. Features include copper alloy tips and crush- and heat-resistant vacuum hoses.
