CONCOA has introduced the new BlendMaster™ 657 series gas blender that enables users to create precise, custom-blended gas mixtures on-site for gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) and gas metal arc welding (GMAW) applications.
Designed to increase productivity by eliminating cylinder handling, this system provides 0 to 25 percent blend adjustability for two-component gases. Blending pure argon and carbon dioxide gases, it enhances quality by maintaining a ±1.5 percent accuracy and eliminates the need to keep stratified high-pressure cylinders in storage, the company states.
The company’s EquiBlend™ technology allows for full flow regardless of the mix or blend ratio. Also, a pressure equalization system minimizes inlet pressure fluctuations to stabilize the mix, broadening the inlet pressure range difference between the major and minor component gases.
This system is compatible with numerous cryogenic supply sources, such as liquid cans, microbulk, and bulk gas supply systems. It creates 1,750 SCFH at delivery pressures from 10 to 50 PSIG.
It is available as either a wall- or floor-mounted unit.
