WINNIPEG -- The Phoenix transit system has ordered 120 buses from New Flyer Industries Inc., to be delivered next year.
The Winnipeg-based company says the buses will be made at its plant in St. Cloud, Minn., starting in the fourth quarter of 2013.
New Flyer didn't disclose the value of the order, which is for 40-foot buses that will use compressed natural gas as fuel.
They will replace buses that use liquid natural gas.
New Flyer has built 267 buses for the City of Phoenix since they began doing business with each other in 1994.
