MMP Expo heads to Winnipeg

The Metalworking Manufacturing & Production (MMP) Expo will return to Winnipeg on Wednesday, April 3.

The free, one-day event will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Victoria Inn Hotel & Convention Centre and is presented by Canadian Metalworking and Canadian Fabricating and Welding.

“Our Winnipeg event offers local manufactures an opportunity to meet with leading suppliers that are showcasing the latest technology that could help their business. These individuals can take a few hours out of their day to visit our Expo without having to invest in travelling to one of the larger tradeshows elsewhere,” said Rob Swan, publisher of Canadian Fabricating & Welding. “Winnipeg has been one of our two flagship events, and we are proud to be returning for our fifth consecutive year. Manufacturing is thriving in Manitoba and we always get a great turnout and fantastic local support.”

Attendees will have the opportunity to talk with more than 90 exhibitors showcasing their latest machine tool, cutting tool, fabricating and welding, production software, and metrology products. The event, co-located with Design Expo, is sponsored Elliott Matsuura Canada, Mazak Canada, Trumpf Canada, and Renishaw Canada.

Upcoming MMP Expos will be held in Abbotsford, B.C., on May 15 and Sherbrooke, Que., on June 19. Free registration for all MMP events is available at www.mmpshow.com.
