Prime Minister Stephen Harper visited Bosch Rexroth Canada at its Welland, Ont., headquarters in January. Working collaboratively with the prime minister’s office and security team, the company and a large number of associates welcomed Harper during his visit to the region.
“This was a unique and tremendous opportunity for our company. I was honored that the prime minister took the time out of his busy schedule to visit and tour our headquarters and meet with our associates, as well as witness our unique technology firsthand,” said Tom Light, president of Bosch Rexroth Canada.
The prime minister spoke with the company’s engineering staff and received an overview about Bosch Rexroth’s applications and technology. The tour was rounded out with a walkthrough of the company’s machine, fabrication, and assembly facility.
