Mitutoyo offers free metrology workshops
Mitutoyo Canada, Mississauga, Ont., has announced a series of free workshops for 2016 that cover a variety of metrology related topics.
The workshops are suitable for machine operators, quality control inspectors, shop supervisors, metalworking manufacturing personnel, and engineering managers. Upcoming workshop topics include:
- May 26, 2016: Why buy a CMM? This seminar focuses on understanding the elements of a CMM–accuracy specifications, probing systems and software applications, calibration, and maintenance costs.
- June 16, 2016: Gauge calibration workshop. The program helps manufacturers determine the frequency of calibration and how to track and manage tool calibration data.
