168 Manufacturing adds new distributors

168 Manufacturing, a brand of Precision Tool Technologies, Brainerd, Minn., that designs and develops CNC machine shop automation technologies, has partnered with six new North American distributors to sell its FullShop automated coolant management systems.

“We’re excited to partner with these successful, well-established companies, enabling us to bring our game-changing automation system to even more machine shops across North America,” said Shawn Nelson, sales manager, 168 Manufacturing. “Our system has already brought many benefits to countless machine shops, including better profitability, higher throughput, and lights-out capabilities.”

The new distributors in Canada are Edge Production for B.C., Alberta, and Saskatchewan; Drillmex Inc. for Quebec; and Canadian Tooling Solutions, which is a sales agent for all of Canada.

The company’s technology monitors and replenishes CNC sumps with optimized top-off ratios and comprise a centralized pumping station, controller, distribution manifolds, and level sensor that drops into the machine tool’s sump.
