Bombardier awarded $156 million business jet order
Just days after announcing $950 million in rail contracts overseas, the Montreal-based transport giant confirms order for five Challenger jets
MONTREAL—It’s been a busy holiday season for transportation giant Bombardier.
Just a day after announcing the company’s rail segment had won contracts in the U.K. and Germany worth close to $950 million, Bombardier Aerospace received an order for five of its Challenger 850 business jets in a deal worth $156 million.
The Challenger 850 is a business jet with a range of more than 5,000 kilometres.
