CMTDA Executive Director Peter Turton retires

Peter Turton, the longtime executive director of the Canadian Machine Tool Distributors’ Association, has retired after 10 years with the organization.

Turton is well known in the metal manufacturing industry from his days selling machine tools in the Canadian market.

“His contribution to the association is immeasurable, and he has helped the association and its members immensely,” said CMTDA President Marc Hasrouny at the association’s annual general meeting. “Peter, you will be missed, and on behalf of the board and all the members, safe travels and thank you.”

He will be replaced in his role by Katie Turton.
