Jergens, Cleveland, has hired Joseph Farkas as national sales manager for its workholding group to replace Ken Marvar, who is retiring in April. Farkas comes to the company with more than 20 years of experience in sales development, management, and market channel strategy with companies including The Timken Co., Fuchs, Sandvik, and Kennametal.

“Jergens workholding group has momentum in the market with recent advancements in top tooling and custom solutions focused on 5-axis machining productivity, and we have a lot of confidence that Joe can support those technologies at the customer level and throughout our strategic partnerships,” said General Manager Matt Schron.

“I am grateful for the opportunity and looking forward to both the challenges and accomplishments to come,” said Farkas.

Farkas is trained in Six Sigma and has a strong background in business planning, P&L performance, sales and customer service metrics, and technical training. He has an associate degree in mechanical engineering from Stark State College, a bachelor’s degree in business management from Malone University, and an MBA from Ashland University.
