ONA, Durango, Spain, has acquired 30 per cent of AAEDM, Ann Arbor, Mich., to add microhole EDM technology to its portfolio of EDM machines.
Founded in 2009, AAEDM designs and manufactures EDM machines for high-precision microhole machining.
According to ONA, this acquisition complements its growth strategy, opening the door to new business opportunities worldwide, with the involvement of both new and existing customers. With this collaboration, ONA, its subsidiaries and distributors, and AAEDM will be introduced to new markets such as Europe, where AAEDM’s product line is virtually unknown.
