Summit Ridge Capital acquires Burloak Tool & Die Ltd.

Summit Ridge Capital (SRC) Corporation, a private equity firm based in Toronto, has announced the completed the acquisition of Burloak Tool & Die Ltd., a Burlington, Ont.-based designer and manufacturer of tooling, machined products, and stamped parts for the appliance, automotive, heavy duty, and infrastructure sectors.
The manufacturer is making investments in processes and capital equipment, and the company is positioned for new growth in toolmaking, machining, and stamping.
Sean Brown, an SRC partner, has design and manufacturing experience and assumes the on-site role of president and CEO. Les Rackham, retiring president, expressed his thanks for the over 40 years the company has been in the hands of the Rackham family.
