The APMA has a new president

Flavio Volpe will be taking over from Steve Rodgers, who successfully advocated for the competitiveness of the Canadian supply chain.

The Automotive Parts Manufacturers Association (APMA) announced today that Flavio Volpe has been appointed its new President.

"Our industry continues to face significant challenges in an increasingly competitive global market. We expect that our new President will take a strong role as a lead advocate for our industry, and we look forward to this new chapter at the APMA," said Keith Henry, Chairman, APMA.

A graduate of the Schulich School of Business MBA program at York University in Toronto, Volpe has worked with Ontario’s Ministry of Economic Development, Employment and Infrastructure, as well as Industry Canada. He will be taking over from Steve Rodgers, who was at the helm for five years.

"I look forward to championing the globally tested and innovative competitiveness of the Canadian automotive supply chain. The APMA will be a strong voice at the table, working with our private and public partners to build on our industry's 100 year legacy in Canada," said Flavio Volpe, President, APMA.

Flavio's experience pursuing and negotiating Original Equipment Manufacturer investments in Ontario brings an exciting new perspective to the APMA.
