Tebis America has released Version 4.0 Release 3 of its CAD/CAM software.
The highlights of the update include new toolbars and menu panels that can be easily docked to the edge of the application window, a new software interface, and a new project dialog that displays the most recently used files immediately after the program is started.
According to the company, the new release also improves the display of wire-frame models and isolines.
This update provides improved algorithms that generate better transitions for 4-edge surfaces. The user can also adjust the approximation tolerance as well as control generated radius runouts and theoretical edges more efficiently.
During surface modeling, when generating surfaces with constant curvature, this update supports symmetrical areas and provides better management of input parameters when using optimization functions.
