MPC gripper from SCHUNK designed for small components

SCHUNK has expanded its range of grippers for small components with a basic gripper for simple applications. The pneumatically controlled MPC is suitable for a variety of applications in assembly automation. It is available in six sizes from 16 to 270 N with maximum jaw strokes from 2.5 to 15 mm (0.09 to 0.59 in.).The smallest size, with a weight of 50 g (1.76 oz.), allows handling of components weighing up to 80 g (2.82 oz.). At the top end of the size scale, part weights of up to 1.3 kg (2.86 lbs.) are possible. Repeat accuracy is 0.02 mm (0.00079 in.).
