Laser Photonics has introduced a 2,000-W, single-axis, hand-held laser cleaning machine that is capable of meeting health and environmental regulations in manufacturing environments.
The Cleantech LPC 2000CTH uses a high-powered, energy-efficient laser to clean components made of aluminum, anodized aluminum, alloy metals, stainless steel, mild steel, copper, and brass. It is suitable for cleaning, rust removal, corrosion removal, decontamination, depainting, prewelding, and other surface-preparation processes without damaging the base material.
The system serves as an alternative to industrial cleaning processes such as abrasive blasting, sandblasting, or wet chemical processes.
