Niagara Cutter willexhibit a selection ofrotating carbide toolsengineered to maximizeproductivity inspecific materials andoperations. Includedwill be the S738 andS938 multiflute solidcarbideend mills fortitanium and otherchallenging materials;MZN 410R (shownhere) and 510R highfeedsolid-carbide endmills for moldmakingoperations; andNS240R solid-carbidelong-flute finishing endmills for peripheral finishmilling involvinglong axial engagement.

The seven-fluteS738/S738R and ninefluteS938/S938R solid-carbide end millsfeature unequal flute spacing thatreduces vibrations and produces excellentsurface finish. The seven-flutecutters are available in diametersfrom 0.25 to 0.5 in., while the nineflutecutters are between 0.625 and1 in. in diameter. Aerospace cornerradii and AlTiN coating are standard.

The MZN 410R and 510R solidcarbideend mills provide high-feedmachining capability to reduce cycletimes in moldmaking operations onhardened steels, cast irons, and superalloys.

The NS240R long-flute finishingend mills offer enhanced rigidityto produce high-tolerance, straightwalls in deep pockets while maintaininghigh-quality surface finish, thecompany reports. With a 5xD depthof cut as standard, the tools can alsoreduce cycle time by allowing onepassmachining in square-shouldermilling operations.
