Small Thread Milling Cutters
Sandvik Coromant has introduced a range of small CoroMill® Plura thread milling cutters.
These tools are designed specifically for the types of components required in the medical sector. Suitable for both right- and left-hand threading in materials up to a hardness of 63 HRC, the tools can generate threads from 1-64 UNC / 2-64 UNF to 5⁄16-18 UNC / 5⁄16-24 UNF depending on hole depth and material. M1.6 - M12 type thread mills are also available.
