Jergens has introduced two of its latest top-tooling systems.
The first is a 130-mm, low-profile vise for extending the work area for multiaxis applications. Part of the company’s Fixture Pro™ family, this vise increases Z travel while maintaining the same characteristics as the company’s larger vises. It is available in standard and drop-and-lock versions.
Also released is the dual-station production vise line, which includes 6-in. widths in 15-in. length versions. These vises permit the use of the full 6-in. width on vertical machining centers (VMCs) with narrow tables that typically pose table overhang and clearance problems. These shortlength vises are available in three body styles: narrow base, Ball Lock™ base, and with a universal design for direct-to-table mounting.
