Keyence Canada machine vision system improves quality control inspection

Keyence Canada offers a machine vision system to help improve quality control, the company reports. It is capable of performing image analysis by capturing multiple images taken from different directions and lighting.
New multi-spectrum lighting is now available to capture images with eight different wavelengths to detect the slightest changes.
Applications include presence/absence detection, stain/flaw detection, shape/colour recognition, count verification, and advanced optical character recognition (OCR).
