DN Solutions DVF 4000 5-axis machining centre made for compact spaces

DN Solutions has introduced the DVF 4000, a 5-axis CNC machining centre for diverse five-sided and simultaneous 5-axis applications.

The machine comes standard with a 15,000-RPM direct-coupled spindle, powered by a 24.8-HP motor that generates 87.1 ft.-lbs. of torque. A FANUC 31i-B5 Plus control makes full 5-axis simultaneous control possible, including complete contouring capabilities.

It features a 400-mm-dia.,built-in rotary table with a zero-backlash roller gear cam. An eight- or 12-pallet auto workchanger provides additional productivity by using a pallet system to feed the machine during unattended machining.

Each machine in the DVF series comes equipped with a 40-tool servo-driven ATC. For more versatility, 60- and 120-tool magazines are also available.

An oil-cooled spindle helps control heat to minimize thermal expansion. A Z-axis thermal compensation feature collects real-time data from six sensors throughout the machine to automatically calculate compensation.

Roller LM guideways are used for both speed and added rigidity, the company states. The machines are equipped with linear scales on the X, Y, and Z axes and rotary scales on the B and C axes.
