The new SR-20RIII Star machine from Star CNC features a Fanuc controller and rapid speeds of 35,000 mm/min.
This machine is the fourth generation of this model, which has been enhanced with added capability, versatility, rigidity, and speed, according to the company. The design of this machine lends itself to medical industries in which machined components have to be completed in one operation with fine finishes, and where the smallest details must be burr-free.
A majority of these machines are used for the production of dental implants, bone screws, medical instruments, and other medical components.
