Norton Winter V-Prime grinding wheels maximize edge stability

Saint-Gobain Abrasives has introduced the Norton Winter V-Prime grinding wheels, designed to provide high edge stability and long life when gashing and clearance-grinding round tools.

The wheel’s resin bond combines good wear resistance with the dressing ability of a standard resin bond.

They increase productivity and reduce cycle times because they require lower grinding forces and enable higher feed rates to be used, the company states. Offline dressing optimizes grinding wheel preparation, saving time and cost.

The wheels are available in numerous common shapes and sizes for resin bonds and in grits including 240, 320, and 400. They also can be customized for specific customer requirements.
