The 9-in. Zip-Miter horizontal band saw from Palmgren is suitable for cutting straight or miter cuts on ferrous and nonferrous metals. According to the company, it is built to provide the same cutting accuracy as a cold saw.
The no-belt system maximizes the power of the motor to the blade to help reduce vibration, and the saw offers a choice of a manual feed for single or utility cuts or a hydraulic downfeed for fast, precision cuts.
