Strike at Bristol Machine Works in Sudbury ends
107 workers voted on Wednesday morning to accept the three-year deal.

SUDBURY, Ont. – Employees at a Sudbury industry are heading back to work. Bristol Machine Works and United Steelworkers Local 2020 reached a tentative deal on Tuesday.
The 107 workers voted on Wednesday morning to accept the three-year deal and will return to work on Thursday. The 80 per cent yes vote ends a two-day strike by the machine shop and welding fabricators.
Details of the agreement have not been made public.
Bristol Machine Works has three locations in Sudbury and does work for the mining industry.
