BRP names new chairman of the board
BRP, a Quebec-based powersports vehicles, propulsion systems and boat manufacturer, announces that José Boisjoli will be appointed Chairman of the Board succeeding Laurent Beaudoin. This new appointment will be in addition to Boisjoli's current roles of President and CEO and director.
Beaudoin will be named Chairman Emeritus and will not stand for re-election.
Michael Hanley, an independent director since 2012, will be appointed Lead Director. He will be responsible for providing leadership to the directors to ensure that the Board carries out its responsibilities effectively and efficiently.
The appointments will be confirmed following an election at the upcoming Annual Shareholder Meeting on May 30, 2019.
