RoboVent has created the Spire® dust collector to address the needs of robotic welding operations where space is at a premium.
The unit is designed to complement the most common robotic welding applications used in the automotive industry, though it can be applied to many other industries as well. According to the company, the dust collector has the smallest footprint available in the industry.
The flexible unit provides filtration for an individual welding cell, serving as an alternative to centralized ducted systems. It is designed to keep up with the heavy demands of robotic welding in a high-production factory, says the company.
The dust collector features a built-in Delta3® spark arrestance system. The proprietary eTell® control system helps simplify maintenance, and the accessible design allows fast filter changes and maintenance without special tools.
