The new ORBIT welding helmet from Walter Surface Technologies offers three high-definition, autodarkening lenses; antiscratch cover plates; and a 24-sq.-in. viewing area. HD technology allows the user to see colors well and have a clear, defined view, the company states.
The helmet is designed with a wide fit to allow the user to wear gear, glasses, or other accessories underneath it. External controls allow for shade adjustment and grind mode selection without having to lift the hood. It is solar powered and has a USB charger for backup charging.
