ULT LLC offers the LAS 1200 laser fume extraction system. It uses five different filtration stages, which, along with the use of efficient filter media, helps ensure a separation rate higher 99.9 percent, says the company.
In the prefilter and main filter stages, solid particles down to the nano-range are separated; filtration or adsorption of gases and vapors is executed in an activated carbon filter using a fan with a large pressure reserve.
The unit is suitable for the capture and filtration of dry, noncombustible dusts occurring during laser processing applications including cutting, welding, marking, and ablation. The fume extraction system can be used as a stationary or mobile unit.
